My husband and I went to celebrate his birthday at Dover Downs plus we got free slots play for 3 days Friday -Saturday and Sunday 110.00 Friday and 100.00 Saturday and 100.00 Sunday it's a shame they give u free slots play and then don't win anything with it l took 1000.00 u win a little bit and loose more. Phase II of reopening began on Monday, June 15, 2020. We are operating with a maximum occupancy up to 60% of that allowed by current fire code on the casino floor. Casino hours of operation are Monday – Thursday 10AM – 4AM and 24 hours on weekend, 10AM Friday – 4AM Monday.
Table Games are open under strict social distancing guidelines. Table game patrons are asked to register at the table game registration podium outside Fire & Ice to reserve a spot. Customers and dealers must wear a cloth face covering AND face shield while playing table games. Games are limited to 3 guests per table.
Hotel
The hotel is accepting reservations as well as honoring those booked prior to the closure. Hotel guests may use the entrance located in the Hotel valet and must complete the required temperature check and medical screening prior to checking in. At this time valet service remains unavailable. The fitness center and pool area are now open with limited capacity and strict social distancing guidelines in place.
Dining Outlets
Jerry Longo's Meatballs & Martinis is open with a curated menu inclusive of the Longo's 'Classic' Meatball Salad. Longo's is open 4PM – 10PM Thursdays & Sundays and 4PM – 11PM Friday & Saturday. The bar in this location is open with strict social distancing guidelines in effect. The Garden Café offers breakfast daily from 8AM – 11AM, lunch & dinner 11AM – 10PM Sunday – Thursday and 11AM – 11PM Friday & Saturday. Sweet Perks Too remains open Sunday – Thursday 10AM – 2AM, 24 hours Friday & Saturday. Sweet Perks in the hotel lobby is open Saturday & Sunday 7AM – 2PM.
Beginning on Thursday, September 3, The Garden Café will be located in the Colonnade next to Jerry Longo's. The bar in this location will be open with strict social distancing guidelines in effect. Fire & Ice is reopening for walk-up & seated bar service. Fire & Ice will be open daily 9AM – 1AM with strict social distancing guidelines in place. The Gazebo Bar® will be closed in preparation for the Sugar Factory construction.

We are entering Phase II of our reopening on Monday, June 15, 2020, during this phase we are operating with a maximum occupancy up to 60% of that allowed by current fire code on the casino floor. Our new hours of operation will be Monday-Thursday 10AM-4AM, Friday 10AM-Monday 4AM, making the weekends open for 24-hour gaming.
An additional 166 slot machines will be turned on and available for play beginning on the 15th.
Additional table games will open during this phase in accordance to State and Lottery guidelines, more details to be announced on social media next week.
Beginning on Thursday, June 18, the hotel will be operating at 60% occupancy of that allowed by current fire code and is accepting reservations as well as honoring those booked prior to the closure. Hotel guests may use the entrance located in the Hotel valet and must complete the required temperature check and medical screening prior to checking in. Additionally, at this time valet, business center, fitness room and pool will be unavailable.
In addition to the reopening of the hotel, Jerry Longo's Meatballs & Martinis will open with a curated menu inclusive of the Longo's 'Classic' Meatball Salad. Longo's will be open 4PM-10PM on Thursdays, 4PM-11PM Fridays & Saturdays and 4PM-10PM on Sundays. The Garden Café which reopened during Phase I will be offering a more comfortable version of sit-down dining service; Café breakfast will be 8AM-11AM and lunch & dinner 11AM-10PM, daily. The bars in each of these locations will be open and with 8-foot social distancing guidelines in effect. Guests of the same household can sit together. Sweet Perks Too will remain open for grab and go service.

We will be reopening on June 1, 2020 at 10AM. Our commitment to safety is our top priority and we will be following all guidelines set in place by the State of Delaware. During this time the Casino will be open from 10AM-2AM daily.
- Guests and team members will be required to complete medical screenings and temperature checks prior to entry to the property.
- Delaware Social Distancing requirements are 8 feet at slot machines and in restaurants.
- Delaware Social Distancing requirements are 6 feet while standing and circulating throughout the property.
- Guests and team members are required to wear facial coverings on property, at all times. It is recommended that you please bring your own facial covering.
- Our dedicated staff will provide frequent cleaning and disinfecting of all areas.
- Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the casino.
- Employees have been instructed to constantly wash their hands, maintain appropriate distancing, wear facial coverings, and stay home if they have a fever or feel sick.
Current state regulations include restricted capacity. During the first phase of our reopening, you can expect a different overall experience at Dover Downs. Please be reminded, that your safety and security is our top priority. The following amenities/perks are temporarily unavailable.

- Beverage service on the casino floor will be available during all hours of operation (10AM-2AM daily)
With respect to the State of Delaware and the responsibility to limit the congregation of large groups beyond the approved capacity, the offers listed in your monthly Capital Club Rewards mailer will be redeemable based on new designated time frames within the new offer period when we can safely encourage trip incentives. As always, these offers do not accumulate.
As soon as we safely can, we will begin reopening and rolling out all the amenities/perks you expect at Dover Downs. We are thrilled to welcome you back, and we look forward to seeing you soon!

We Care About Our Community
Our staff has been working hard in the last week to provide food and support for so many great organizations in the area! We have given over $10,000 in produce, dairy and egg products to The Food Bank of Delaware, the Interfaith Mission Shelter, the Emmanuel Church Food Pantry, the Holy Trinity Community Food Pantry, and the House of Pride Food Pantry of Dover. The Food Bank supplied over 2,400 cars at a drive through food pantry on property with care packages with the support of Dover Downs and Dover Motorsports. We will continue to give as much as we can this week in order help our community during this time. Stay safe.

'Dover Downs, Inc. is cooperating fully with Governor Carney's directive to temporarily close Dover Downs Casino. On March 16 we had suspended operation within the casino, with our hotel and select restaurants fully operating. We have now made the decision to temporarily close the entire property including the hotel and restaurants beginning at checkout (11:00AM) on Thursday, March 19. We will continue to work closely with the State during this period of closure. We sincerely regret any inconvenience to our customers. However, the State's efforts to slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus are of paramount importance. We believe this preventative approach is a necessary step to help ensure the health and safety of our employees, customers, and all Delawareans. During our closure, we will work diligently to implement additional protective measures for our customers upon re-opening. DOVER — All three of Delaware's casinos will reopen with strict limits Monday as part of the next big step in Delaware's reopening process. Chiefly, only slots will be available for gaming and all visitors must have their temperatures checked before entering.
The establishments have been closed since mid-March due to coronavirus, but with Gov. John Carney lifting more prohibitions in the state of emergency June 1, the three are among the many businesses taking customers again soon.
The casinos at Dover Downs, Delaware Park and Harrington are limited to 30 percent capacity. Guests must wear face coverings, practice strict social distancing and complete medical screenings and temperature checks upon arrival.
Employees also will wear masks and have their temperatures checked.

Amenities like table games and the sportsbooks will be closed at all three establishments, as will additional attractions like retail stands, bars and Dover Downs' hotel. The casinos will each be open from 10 a.m. to 2 a.m.
Each casino was required to submit a plan for reopening to the Division of Small Business before welcoming customers back, something all three did. Is there a casino near monterey california hotels.
Is apache casino in lawton oklahoma open today. The establishments also have some of their own precautions in place: Dover Downs is only allowing guests to enter through the casino valet entrance in The Colonnade, Harrington is mandating they complete a short questionnaire before entering and Delaware Park is limiting access to Delaware residents with a rewards club card.
There will be limited dining and drink options. At Dover Downs, Garden Café will serve lunch and dinner from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sweet Perks Too will be open during all hours of operation. All food is takeout but may be consumed in Garden Café seating with social distancing.
Beverage service on the casino floor will be available.
Delaware Park's self-serve options will be closed, and food and beverage outlets will be limited. More information is available at delawarepark.com/dining.
Harrington will open Onion Jack's by reservation only, as well as Bolo's and the Grab-and-Go.
